Bloggin' time! Yatta! :)) I'll start blabbing about the fast that happened at school last April 5, 2007 then afterwards, the highlight of my day for today.
The fast started at 8:30 am. Among all of my friends, only Jorelly, Jane, and SR did the fast. So during lunch break, most of our friends were tempting us to eat fries. =x Honestly, fasting is hard esp. when your only companion is a bottle of water or fruit juices. Hehe.
Anyway, after dismissal, the students doing the fast went to the library. There, Mr. Ferguson talked about what are the activities for the whole night, we had icebreaker game, and we cut a thousand butterflies. At around 6 we left school and walked to church to attend the mass. :)) Afterwards, we went back to school and watched a movie entitled Molokai. It's based on a true story about a priest named Father Damien who went to Molokai, a place in Hawaii, for a mission: to work in colony of people with leprosy. Even though the movie was long and even though I fell asleep for about 20 mins or so while watching the movie, it's still a touching movie because Fr. Damien sacrificed his life taking care of the lepers and helping them ease the pain that they feel. =((
The teachers gave us free time after the movie. Me and Jorelly just sat down the hallway chatting about random stuffs. Then suddenly, Mr. Ferguson called us over the intercom saying that we should go to room 201 for a reflection. Later on, we had free time again and this time it's for the whole night. =D
To start off the night, Jorelly, Jane, Arnold and I played scrabble while SR was somewhere playing dodgeball. As we were playing we came up with diff. and odd words. Actually, not just words but sentences as well.
Through out the night, we just played badminton, basketball, volleyball, pictionary, hide-and-seek, and cards. At 5 am, Jane, SR, Arnold and Marcia went to bed so the only people left at the core were Jorelly and I. We didnt sleep all night. Thus, to kill time, we took pictures.
Despite the fact that food was prohibited and I didnt sleep, I say the fast was a blast and I'm planning to do it again next yr. But I guess, everything is not just about having fun... sadly, Jorelly and I ended our fast with a bitter goodbye. :( Also, I dont wanna talk about what happened between the two of us. Gladly, it's over now. :)
So that's basically what happened during the fast. Today, Brian and I went to Jorelly's place cos we helped Brian finish his overdue modules. =.="" We spent 4 and half hours doing his never ending modules. The three of us got lazy thinking what to write or what to answer, so we just fooled around instead. Moreover, Brian suggested that we should karaoke. Man, he was really into singing this afternoon. Actually, he karaoked the whole time. Hahaha!! Jorelly and I just watched him sing. :D
As we were having fun, my mom kept calling my cp asking me what time I'm going home. I told her that I'm going home when Brian's going home since he will give me a ride. :) After my mom's call, Brian decided that he should call his dad to pick us up so that we can go home. Besides, Jorelly and his family are going to attend a mass so we cant stay longer. Brian did call his dad around 7 but then 8:30 pm came and his dad wasnt there yet. He got so pissed by his dad's actions. Hence, his rants started. It was a pretty long "speech" to be honest. Jorelly and I just listened to his complaints 'cos it was obvious that giving advices to him wont be a good idea. (^^) Ha!
