TGIF!
I can finally have a break just for one night(i dont have enough break over the weekends since school started!).
[Edit]
I didnt blog much about the happenings in my life last week, so tonight (regarding school, friends etc. ), I'll blog a little longer.
Compare last week, school's more stressful. This week, I had my first chapter test in Social Studies and my second quiz, which is a major one, in Chemistry. Also, I got my results on the two quizzes(MathP and Chem.) I had last week. My results were good and were satisfying. But with regards to the chapter test and quiz this week? I dont know if I did good esp. in chemistry. It's because, there was this question, which is worth 5 marks, about calculating the total energy that is used to vapourize iodine from 21 degree Celsius to 192 degree Celsius. And here's my problem; I put the wrong melting and boiling point of iodine. Thus, if both of my melting and boiling pt are wrong, then my whole equation and final answer is messed up!
2 words: DAMN IT.
Warning ahead: To those people who are great Catholic believers, the following statement(s) is/are my perception(s). People have different ways of thinking or different views right?
Most of the time there's mass whenever there is a celebration at AORHS. And just this morning, we had a mass during the school celebration. Boy, it never fails to amuse me how different a school mass is here from the school mass in Philippines.
I guess this has something with me spending 7 yrs of my life going to a catholic school in my country of origin. I am used to a school mass that is religious, with all the steps(I know this is not the proper term to use but I cant remember what's the right word)of a mass inorder.
But here in Canada, it's all messed up and some students even clap during a mass. Take for example the mass this morning. There was this guy who was about to read a reading from the bible, then the students(excluding me and my friends who are Filipinos) clapped when his name was mentioned. SERIOUSLY. =.=" I know when someone says "catholic school" here in Canada, it doesnt mean all students that goes in a catholic school are Catholic due to cultural diversity. I understand that. Even in my school back in Philippines, I have some classmates that are not Catholic but even so, they still do what they're supposed to do during a mass. And it's to be respectful. From my own view, mass is the time wherein a person relfects and connects with God (I know there are other ways too but I'm talking about mass here) so it should be solemn. Right now, I might sound like an anti-noncatholic but I really am not. Honestly, if it's the other way around, I'll still respect the catholic region. Why? Because it's their religion. And as what I said earlier, people have different views or beliefs so I cant just tell those non-catholic(I'm a Catholic!) people to abandon their religion because there's supposed to be only one God...something like that right?
Anyway, after the school celebration, my friends and I went to the mall. We played pool, watched Balls of Fury, ate steamed bun and chilled. Today, I wasnt in the mood to play pool so I took pictures instead. Sadly, I cant post the pictures right now since my USB cord is nowhere to be found for the nth time so I'll post the pictures next time instead :) Subsequent to playing pool, we went to watch Balls of Fury. I say, the movie was ok. It's like an action-comedy. But if I'm gonna compare Balls of Fury to Rush Hour 3, the latter is still the best. =D Nothing beats the "Yu-Mi" part(I'm referring to RH3).
Speaking of movies, I fee like I'm the only person in the world who havent watched Transformers. YES I KNOW. I know I missed a very good movie this year. =(( I'll just rent the movie at Blockbuster(if it's available!) or might as well wait for it to come out on dvd. Moreover, since I'm already talking about entertainment, why dont I talk about Japanese entertainment as well?
The other day or I should say, many days ago, I recommended watching Hana Kimi, which is still aired in Japan 'til Sept. 17. Now, I'm recommend to those people who loves to watch Jdrams, First Kiss(as for now, there are 8/12 eps). It's about a girl named Mio who grew up in US, has a heart disease and is about to go in a heart surgery. But before her surgery, she wants to go back to Japan to see her onii-chan Kazu. Ok, I'm not gonna beyond that. Just watch it yourself. It's another Jdrama that's worth watching for. And btw, the main girl character is the same girl(Tsukushi) from Hana Yori Dango. FYI, Inoue Mao(the main character in FK and HYD)looks prettier in FK than in HYD. ;)
Putting that aside, I forgot to mention about my friends and I chilling at TnT. Gawd, their funny. At TnT, we were talking about what Andrew said during our math class. Here's what happened during math class:
Sis(Pretending to be innocent): Andrew ano ba ang jakol?
(Jorelly, Mervin and I laughed)
Andrew: Jakol... Jack en Poy
(Jorelly, Mervin, Sis and I burst out laughing)
Also, at TnT, we were talking about the girls from Hooters. It's because last sat, Mervin, Andrew, Sis and Jorelly went to my place to drop my notes in Math. They chilled for like 20 minutes and talked about where are they going to eat dinner. Then someone mentioned about Hooters. I thought they were just fooling around so for this whole week I thought they ate somewhere instead. But then, this afternoon they told me they really went to Hooters. Mervin even complained to me that their waitress was ugly. Here's the funny part: Mervin and Andrew compared the girls' legs from Hooters to a crab's leg! I dont know how to explain it here but it's pretty funny yet nasty. Ok, put it this way, imagine yourself eating a crab and trying to separate those crab legs that looks like a clip. This is how Andrew imagines the girls' legs...just like eating a crabs' legs.

One more week and I'm turning 18! Sadly, I cant have a debut. *sigh* Actually, the original plan was I'm going to have a debut. But then, since we bought a house and my mom paid thousands of dollars regarding the house, the plan was completely changed. :( So next saturday, I'm just going to have a celebration at my house. Thats it. *sigh* I guess I can have a debut when I turn 20? LOL! XD
