Whether it's my blog or my friends, I've been distant from it/them this week. I don't mind being distant from my blog but being distant from my friends? That's a different story. Even though this condition only occurred this week, it felt like I've never seen my friends for ages and as well, it felt like I was obsolete (I guess I'm still obsolete up to now). Take for example Mai. I think it was the night before when Andrew told or asked me something regarding Mai's birthday this Halloween and my reply to him was "I don't know. I haven't seen her at school." It's not that Mai didn't go to school or was sick the whole week; it is just me who didn't show her face to her friends (don't get me wrong, I'm not into some kind of hiding or somewhere along those lines). Actually, after 4 days of school, I just saw her this morning. (+_+) For this, I'm blaming this week's homeworks, Social test, Bio and Math quiz and my irresponsibility of not managing my time properly as well.

Last night or probably 2 nights ago, someone asked me to blog about my math class. This someone happens to be in my math class as well. So anyway, wondering why he wants me to do that, I asked him why. He replied to me saying "wala lang, nakakatuwa lang". I also asked him what am I suppose to blog regarding my math class since it's not that fun as Mrs. Mcgee's social class and he said "Just blog about me sleeping during class." LOL. Funny guy. So yeah, I think I'll blog about him and 2 other guys namely Mervin and Andrew checking out our math teacher's bum? Bwahaha!! +) Honestly, I cant blame them because it's (the bum) so hard to miss since it's very round. Moreover, these guys, especially "someone", even drew our math teacher's body with a big exaggerated round bum.

Okay, enough about my math teacher's eye catching bum. I remember before, I sympathized myself for being in her class because she's confusing when she teaches – the reason is not because I don't get the lesson, it's because she's just confusing. But now, I'm starting to like her as weeks go by since she confuses me less and less. Hehehe +)

Going back to someone... even though his answer didn't satisfy me yet I agreed to blog about math class, I'm still wondering why Sis wants me to blog about it.

Approximately 3 hours ago, I was browsing in MSN when this caught my eyes:

Out of curiousity, I clicked it then I saw the article THE UGLIEST PRODUCTS IN TECH HISTORY.
The article listed or showed 10 ugly products. Here are some that I find ugly :

The Acoustic Coupler Modems

This modem was from 1970's. According to the article, what a person needs to do to be able to have an Internet connection was 1) to make the call manually 2) listen for the carrier tone and 3) push the handset into the twin suction cups mounted on top of the modem.

No matter how I look at it, the two suction cups bugs me. These cups look like mushrooms that grows out from a video tape.

Next one is the...

Osborne 1

This is the very first portable computer or the "laptop" from 1981. And guess how heavy it is..go ahead guess. 24 lbs! Add to that the 5in. monochrome(black and white) monitor. There's no way I'm gonna carry a 24 lbs laptop for Pete's sake. Good thing laptops nowadays are more lighter, sleek and easy to carry around! Thanks to the improving technology.

The third one is...

Motorola DynaTAC 8000X

Inconvenient and fat-looking, this was the very first cellphone. LOL. Personally, I think a common individual, most likely teenagers, from this generation will thought that this "cellphone" is an old version of wireless phones - as in house phones. Imagine, a lot of people bought this $3995 phone?!? Crazy. What if this is still available in the market nowadays, will people still buy it? Probably crazy phone collectors are gonna be the only one that will give a damn on this phone.v(^__^)v

And lastly...

Furby

Seriously speaking, I dont find furby really ugly. I just find it kinda ugly because of its thick-long eyelashes. It is true that most girls want to have thick-long-curly eyelashes but as a girl, I dont think I want the kind of eyelashes Furby possesses. Why? Simply because I find it revolting! By just removing Furby's eyelashes, I think, he(Furby sounds like a guy's name to me. LOL) will look just fine and cute as well. Talk about undergoing a complete makeover. Hehe =D

Moreover, when I told Jorelly that Furby is not that ugly to be part of the Ugliest Products in Tech History, he contradicted me saying "Yeah, he's ugly." Thus, I googled Furby pictures to prove Jorelly that he's wrong. Luckily I found a cute one which is in purple color!

Doesnt it look cute? So Jorelly, are you still gonna say that Furby is UGLY? huh? huh?

As I was browsing in Google for more pictures, I came to the conclusion that Jorelly probably said that because he saw an ugly version of Furby which looks like this...

One word: UGLY. (+__+) I cant really tell if this is a Ladybug Furby or a Catwoman Furby. I know Catwoman is characterized as a woman wearing glossy-black tights and a mask with 2 cute cat ears. But in this case, I see Furby more as catwoman rather than a ladybug. I think I came to this idea because of the black circles around Furby's eyes. Furthermore, I found another ugly picture of Furby. And this time, it's a Naked Furby. LOL!

LMAO! Furby looks really funny! Bwahahahaha! XD Oh and the eyelashes are really, really and I mean really UGLY. This reminds me of a small nocturnal mammal with big round scary looking eyes found in Philippines called the....

TARSIER

Okay. If I have to choose between the naked Furby and the Tarsier, I'll definitely pick the Tarsier. And dont ask me why the Tarsier. Seriously.

I keep blabbing about the ugliness of the two pictures of Furby that you reader may think that my views in Furby changed from cute to ugly but you're wrong. Despite his revolting eyelashes and after seeing Furby's hairless mechanical body, I still find him cute no matter what. (^___^)

On a random note, I was chatting(and I'm still chatting!) with Andrew about "birds" and pebble...

Ann i had enough says (8:08 PM):

andru go oilers go says (8:08 PM):

Ann i had enough says (8:08 PM):

andru go oilers go says (8:09 PM):

andru go oilers go says (8:09 PM):
u r more like the pebble. hard and heavy

Mean guy. Even though he's like this to me, I still love him, as a friend of course. This is because he never punches me back or never lays a hand on me whenever I punch or bully him. Also, he's the third male person here in Canada whom I can rely on when I need someone to talk to. :D

Speaking of someone to talk to, I miss my bf Elaine. =( When I came here to Canada, I decided that I'm not gonna drink coffee anymore since I was close to being nocturnal. But just this week, I started drinking again to fight lightheadedness and for me to be able to study at wee hours. Once again, I'm blaming schoolworks. *sigh* Because of this, I'm missing Elaine more. The reason as to why coffee reminds me of Elaine is because before I came here to Canada, Elaine and I always had a cup of coffee whether in a sunny or rainy day and talk about random things. This may sound a bit farfetched but the aroma of coffee rekindles the memories we had together.
