Ahhh surprises. This day is full of bloody surprises!

The Old Lady's Temper

Just this morning, when I was about to take the bus going to school, an old lady gave me a finger. Dumbfounded, I thought to myself "maybe it wasn't me". So, I ignored her and queued to get in the bus. To my astonishment, the same old lady was behind me in the line murmuring something! I couldn't clearly hear the exact words she was saying but I catch the phrase "hope you won't be loud again". In order to confirm if she was really talking about me, I looked at her and she looked at me intently. It's as if she's going to strangle me at that moment. I was so scared that it made me think if I should still go to school(I still end up taking that bus with the old lady though-_-) :'( So anyway, we were in the bus and there was this old black guy who kept sneezing nonstop. Then, the same lady, who gave me the finger, got annoyed by it and was shooting daggers towards the old man. If only looks could kill, the old man was probably dead before he reach his stop! I think that old lady got some behavior problems. I don't give a damn regarding her actions towards me, but overacting by just a mere sneeze? Bollocks! If she wants a peaceful bus ride or environment, she can succumb in her Lala Land! My goodness.

Casey and the Bus Driver

My friend Casey and I were in the bus when suddenly Casey blurted out "The driver's an asshole". Perplexed, I asked her what happened before we got in the bus. According to Casey, the driver accused her of blocking the way in the bus but in fact, she was searching for her U-Pass in her bag. It was my first time seeing Casey got mad over something which I thought was subtle. However, Casey was right. The driver was in fact an asshole. He was yelling "MOVE OUT OF THE F*CKIN' ROAD!" to some random person in an anger tone of voice. Mind you, that random person was not even jaywalking neither about to get hit by the bus. That random person was just walking at the sidewalk! And that is something I find rude. You can't just yell at a random person without valid reason. Besides, in my opinion, even if that random person was jaywalking, the bus driver should have acted according to his age. There were children in the bus! Those children might assume that saying the F-word to people or shouting towards other people is something trivial. For Pete's sake! A person's behavior is greatly shaped by the environment they live in and the people they interact with!

The "N" Word

Okay...Somehow I'm thinking twice if I should include this in my blog entry because the title is well...ambiguous. But whatever! I'll give it a shot.

So Casey was talking to someone on the phone and she was speaking in Chinese. Then suddenly she said the word "nii ga". Coincidentally, there was a black high school kid seating in front of us and he looked at us pissed. I gave Casey a do-you-realized-what-you-have-just-said-look and in return she gave me the I-don't-know-what-you're-trying-to-say-look. Then I remembered Russell Peters' Outsourced video about the incident he had during his stay in Beijing regarding the word "nii ga". Apparently, in China, saying the word "nii ga" is mundane. But logically speaking, not all people would know that right? So, I can't blame the kid if he got offended by it neither Casey saying that word in a casual manner. Lol! XD Here's the clip that I was talking about from Russell Peters' Outsourced DVD.

So those were the incidents that took me by surprise today. The image of the old lady giving me the finger is still in my head. *sigh* Oh yeah, I told Casey about it and she reprimand me saying that I should have given the lady 2 fingers back. LOL! XD Well, I would do it if I'm Casey, but the thing is, I'm not as brave as her. I can only complain endlessly on how rude the lady was, but I don't have the guts to take action in to it. I'm such a coward. T__T

Well anyway, regarding Mai's Halloween birthday pictures, I'll post it once I finish editing the pictures. I promise! :))
