Why is it that the phrase 'I love you' desperately seeks an answer, when in the broadest sense it's not even a question?




Perhaps you want to know that that person your saying "I love you" to feels the same way towards to you?

Perhaps to make you feel assured that the feeling is mutual?


Now this makes me wonder why. Hmmm...
